Kate has previously acted for the Pensions Ombudsman, the Financial Services Ombudsman and the Pensions Board in statutory appeals and judicial reviews of their decisions. She is intimately familiar with the regulatory landscape for each of these areas and clients benefit from this expertise. Kate also acted in two of the most significant pensions cases in the country - in Re the Tara Mines Pension Scheme litigation and the Limestone Construction case.
Kate’s experience in IP disputes includes acting for a multinational in protecting its patents against infringers, advising on a global re-brand; acting in Trade Mark and patent litigation issues and advising on bringing proceedings for the fraudulent use of a quality mark.
